Hand In Hand Beijing Restaurant

Hi Everyone! Today I want to introduce you  an alternative place for Xiao Long Bao.
It's a little Chinese Restaurant in Little India called "Hand In Hand Beijing Restaurant".

The Xiao Long Bao(about $6) are really good. The skin is soft but not too brittle, with a solid soup stock.

Spoiled by mum’s home-made dumplings, I found the Cabbage Pork Dumplings to be just so-so. Do eat it with a dash of vinegar!
The Chinese Chive Puff was nice. You’d do better saving stomach space for better alternatives on the menu.

Barbecued Meat @ Tampines 1!

Today i went to Tampines 1 to check out a store i took an interest in.it sells barbecued meat ready to go and freshly cooked.

Although the outlet itself is quite small, business for that store is packed the time i went to buy the honey ribs i bought there(I couldn't take a proper picture of the display of food they had).Although, the price for them: $2.90/100G is abit deep. The style and taste of the ribs itself left me licking it all over! HAHAHAH!

Pardon me,but my camera phone was horrible at that time.

Shortly after buying these ribs,i went home to take a clear shot of the ribs for your view pleasure!

And for those who don't know where the Shopping mall Tampines 1 is,its located right infront of Tampines MRT.

Hey readers! For all pasta lover out there, this post is dedicated to you! I'll be sharing with you this plate of blend but tasty white cream cabonara from Pastamania. (selling at $11.20)

It is spaghetti pasta cooked in white cream sauce together with bacon (taste like smoked bacon). Pasta sauce is rich and creamy but flavourful with the compliment of the bacon and also the sprinkle of some crushed pepper.

And also this cheese sticks are fried till golden brown and super crispy when bite into. The main flavour of this dish comes from its chilli dip as the cheese do not have much taste to it. Dish best to eat when cool as the cheese inside will be slightly thicken and chewy for better texture! (selling at $4.60)

Char kway teow!

Recently went to east link food court for dinner, had the classic char kway teow since i haven't had it in awhile(especially comparing it to ngee ann's store that sells it).

I was surprised when the it lacked lard for flavouring , instead it had more concertrated sweet taste. So its more health taking for people who are minding of it.

East link food court is located right @ tampines interchange beside the MRT: take the slope exit down from the MRT you'll see it in a small corridor.

Extremely hot spicy wings from sunset pub and grill

Hi guys, a few days ago i planned a dinner to the infamous(?) sunset pub and grill restaurant known for their extremely spicy buffalo wings. For those who don't know, they have a special menu of chicken wings ranging from hotness of level 1-10 for the common variety and level 30-35 for special orders.

This wasn't my first time eating those wings, and my god the first time i tried it,it was level 10 and i FELT IT

The hot wings have differant prices according to their levels, around ~$21 for six piece(~$34 for twelve) with 20 cent increments for each level

For Those interested ,here is an old video of me eating the level 10 wings

For comparison, i ordered level 7 wings, and the sensation of the hotness is a huge difference

level 3 wings on the left, level 7 on the right, notice the difference in sauce amount?

Besides the wings, i ordered a sirloin steak,although i didn't like it,it wasn't cooked properly.
Also had the fried mushroom butter-caps;an crispy outside with a oil full of mushroom on the bite, probably one of their better dishes there.

For people who managed to down anything above level 30,you could put your name(s) on their hall of fame, with anything special you want to say, heres a cute certificate of a past level 35 consumer i took while there
.

Located at punggol, 259 jalan kayu, situated in between a coffee shop and another restaurant, this place is a treat to anyone daring or adventurous enough.Just make sure you set aside time to recover from eating those wings :)

Tanyoto -- hotpot

Hi, everyone! Today I want to introduce a famous hotpot restaurant to you -- Tanyoto!!!
Tanyoto is the top ten restaurant  in China.

Its is one of the best hotpot I have eaten. All the meat are very fresh. It is especially attractive when we can make our own special sauce. It was super nice!

It also has a supper buffet which cost $22 nett which includes free flow of plum juice. Loved the soup base - which I usually choose the Tomato soup base and their specialty FISH BONE SOUP base. Service was good and fast. Not much waiting required. We were given a fish head which was so fresh that it was not enough for two of us.
